SD Urban Retail, a Manhattan-based owner and developer, announced today that Sherwin-Williams and Victoria’s Nails & Bar have opened their brand new retail stores at The Shops on Broadway located at 5740 Broadway, Bronx, NY 10463. This location for Sherwin-Williams represents their largest store in NYC, occupying 4,000 square feet. For Victoria’s Nails & Bar, a best-in-class regional operator, the 6,000 square foot space is their 18th location in the New York Metro area. The Shops on Broadway is a newly constructed shopping center comprised of 24,000 square feet of ground-floor retail with 86 on-grade parking spaces, 14-foot ceiling heights, and 240 feet of frontage.

“We are happy to announce the store openings of Sherwin-Williams and Victoria’s Nails & Bar at The Shops on Broadway,” said Daniel Alvarez, Director of Acquisitions and Leasing at SD Urban Retail. Alvarez adds, “Both stores look fantastic, and I expect they will draw a vibrant customer base from the Bronx and lower Westchester.”

Next month, SD Urban Retail expects Flame Hibachi will open for business at The Shops on Broadway next to the FedEx Office store. Flame is a first-rate regional operator with nine locations. The Shops on Broadway has two spaces available for lease: 2,000 square feet between FedEx Office and Sherwin-Williams, and 6,000 square feet (that can be demised into smaller areas) between Victoria’s and Flame.
