A. Every single Storage Deluxe location stocks and sells a full range of moving and packing supplies.
Q. Do you offer any advice about storage use and purchasing packing supplies?
A. Some helpful tips are:
- Try to keep your boxes in uniform sizes because then they are more easily stacked and stored
- Label all boxes for easy identification
- Fill all boxes completely with heavy items on bottom and lighter ones on top
- Stack boxes as close together as possible to avoid moisture accumulation between them but leave a small space between the wall and your storage items for ventilation
- Stack lighter boxes on top of heavier ones
- Wrap pictures and mirrors in mirror crates marked "FRAGILE" and stacked on end
- Cover all furniture to protect against dust
- Prop up any mattresses that are stored on end to stand straight or they may lose their shape
